Dear Ventura County CCD colleagues,

Thank you for inviting me to share my work with you today. As you continue to reflect on our time together, I hope these ideas resonate with you. Teaching equitable online classes is hard work. There’s no doubt about it. Start with a step that feels feasible to you. Do your best and check in with yourself daily. Give yourself grace and do the same for your students, colleagues … and everyone else too. 

Teaching online is a lot like building a skyscraper. Each term, aim to build a new floor. And remember to look back and celebrate how far you’ve come.
